Bruno Erard, Partner, admitted to the bar of Paris, has been in charge of the tax department since January 2003. From 1986 to 1998, he practiced as in house tax advisor with two major French groups, heading the tax department of one of them for six years. He joined in 1998 one of the 'big four' law firms, where he was tax partner until 2002. Being a specialist of domestic as well as international tax issues, Bruno is particularly involved in the tax aspects of M&A and LBO transactions, financings and group restructurings, as well as employee share incentive and saving schemes. He advises also major companies for tax audits, litigation and tax optimisation. His expertise covers many sectors: industry, mass-market distribution, energy, health, medias, transports and services. Bruno teaches Corporate tax law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
