Richard Sultman specialises in corporate taxation, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital markets and financial products.

Richard joined the firm in 2004 and became a partner in 2010.

He was resident in the New York office from 2006 to 2007.

Prior to joining Cleary, he was a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and New York.

Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (2001).

Law degree, with first-class honours, University of Cambridge (1997).
