The firm: Founded in 1986, Carbonnier Lamaze Rasle (CARLARA) advises executive managers, companies and financial institutions on strategic business law matters and litigation.

CARLARA’s unique organisation combines both practice area expertise and sectoral experience, in order to provide a practical and concrete approach to legal issues, taking into account the operational aspects of each client’s situation.

With offices in Paris, Lyon, Lille, Brussels and Algiers, the firm includes over 70 lawyers who regularly form multi-disciplinary teams to best meet client needs.

Areas of practice:  CARLARA advises on all aspects of business law and related litigation, and has a predominant number of clients in the banking and finance, industry and media sectors. It also has significant public law and compliance components, as well as expertise in competition and distribution law, white-collar crime, employment law, real estate law and construction.

In addition to its foreign offices, CARLARA is the co-founder of an international alliance, MARCALLIANCE, which allows the firm to advise and defend clients in their business affairs and litigation around the world. Moreover, several of the firm’s partners have significant international experience and are admitted to practice in jurisdictions abroad (New York, United Kingdom, Belgium), giving it a competitive edge for certain segments of international work typically handled by large global firms.
